Remove Trojan and Malware with FREE utility ComboFix
Hi, here I would like to introduce a very small and fast working Trojan remover, ComboFix. It’s a completely free DOS based program and sometime it gives better results detecting Trojans compared to regular antivirus software like Norton, McAfee.
No installation required for ComboFix and you can run right after downloading it. But, before running this, make sure to close all running programs and disable antivirus and malware tools if you have any. If you are using Norton, then even after disabling you may get a message while running ComboFix, like “Malicious Script Detected”, just allow and authorized that script.
Now, first of all ComboFix will make a full backup of your system registry.
Next it will start scanning and in case any malware or Trojan detected ComboFix will delete that. For badly infected machines scanning may take little more time. For some special cases if the detected malware of Trojan is in system memory then ComboFix will ask to restart your PC and execute the delete operation after restart.
ComboFix is updated regularly with latest threats and definition. So, I would recommend to download latest version each time you like to scan your system.
