How to Restore Task Manager Option
Many of us often face trouble while opening the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del because the Task Manager button is disabled like following screenshots.

This is a very common problem and it’s due to virus or malware attack. However, don’t worry as you can restore it manually from Group Policy; just follow steps mentioned below.
- Go to Start Menu -> RUN
- Here type “GPEDIT.MSC” (without quotes) and press enter
- Now you can see the Group Policy editor window.
- Go to User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System from left menu
- Here you can see the Ctrl+Alt+Del option
- On the right side, you can see the item “Remove Task Manager” just double click that and disable it like the screenshot below.

That’s all and you are done. Now you can easily open Task Manger like before. To do this process you must need to login as administrator. On the other hand, you can also see there are same options for other Ctrl+Alt+Del buttons like “Remove Lock Computer”, “Remove Change Password”, “Remove Logoff” and you can do the same to enable or disable these as well.

Yep. Sometimes this problem occurred and what I do is using antivirus or formatting my PC. Now I know the most effective solution here. Thanks a lot! =)
