A Must-Have Freeware from TrendMicro – HijackThis
Popular antivirus and security company TrendMicro launches a great freeware utility called HijackThis. Basically, HijackThis scans your Windows system and find out all settings that may have been changed by any malware or virus.
It creates a thorough list of running NT services and you can export it to an external text file. If you think you can fix any of those listed services. HijackThis won’t determine anything or ask you to make any changes. Everything will depend upon you. It’s quite easy to detect fix unwanted services with HijackThis but if you are not an expert then you can simple create a log and upload it to HijackThis support forums for help.
HijackThis assists you to create a full list of startup entries. You can remove any of those if you wish. But, if you are not quite sure, then I’ll suggest you to make a backup.

- Delete a file on reboot (If you get any malware you can’t remove that until it’s removed from memory. With this option you can remove that file after reboot)
